兄弟情谊的英语翻译 bromance

我们通常把男女之间的爱情故事叫做“罗曼史”，这个说法应该是来自于英文单词romance吧，指一段“浪漫的关系”。大概因为女性多为感情动物的缘故，女性朋友之间还会存在“闺密”这种关系，也就是无话不说的闺中密友。可是，难道男性之间就不能有这样的密切关系存在吗？答案是，当然可以。我们管他们的这种亲密关系叫做bromance。

A bromance or "man-crush" is a close but non-sexual relationship between two men, a form of homosocial intimacy. Coined in the 1990s, the term has historically referred to a relationship between heterosexuals, but the term has gained currency in describing such relationships when one of the men is gay.

兄弟情谊指两个男性之间与性无关的亲密关系，是“求同”类密友的一种形式。这个词最初见于20世纪90年代，指异性恋男子之间的关系，但是后来更倾向于指代其中一位为同性恋时两名男子之间的关系。

"Bromance" is a portmanteau, a combination of the words "brother" and "romance". Editor Dave Carnie coined the term in the skateboard magazine Big Brother in the 1990s to refer specifically to the sort of relationships that develop between skaters who spent a great deal of time together.

Bromance这个词是brother（兄弟）和romance（爱情）两个单词的合成词形式。一位名叫戴夫•卡尼的编辑在20世纪90年代的时候创造了这个词并将其用于滑板杂志《老大哥》的文章中，特指朝夕相处的滑板爱好者之间的关系。
